Supreme Court steps in to save Sariska Tiger Reserve

The Rajasthan Government and the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change have told the Supreme Court that public objections will be invited on the plan to redraw Sariska Tiger Reserve’s boundaries – in compliance with the Court’s December 2024 order.

With your support, thousands of objections were raised, ensuring that the voices of citizens could not be ignored. The Supreme Court has made it clear: only after public input will the proposal move ahead to the National Board for Wildlife and back to court.

This is not the final word, but it is a powerful reminder that collective action works. Together, we’ll keep pushing to secure Sariska’s future
