The #MeToo movement in India led to the disclosure of multiple cases of sexual harassment at reputed universities and colleges. It also exposed the gaps in the redress systems available to the students — leading us to take ‘a step’, a Kadam, that would empower students to tackle instances of sexual abuse and harassment on campus in their own capacities.

What is Kadam? Kadam is an online platform that aims to make students active agents in making their universities and colleges safer. You would know that building websites from scratch is heavy on our organization’s pocket. Our goal is to raise INR 5,00,000 to build and sustain Kadam.

·      Kadam has been built with the latest technology and hosted on the cloud with encrypted data storage to ensure confidentiality of members.

·      We’re also planning on adding AI assisted services in the future as well that can answer queries on subjects like the PoSH Act and related intersections.
