Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa launched the pilot, which is being implemented by the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT), Indian Institute of Science and the UK technology innovation platform Catapult Network.

For the next six months as part of the Clean Air Streets Program, here’s what we have planned:

Help with Research: Indian Institute of Science will be closely monitoring the AQI. We will share the data on Air Quality to understand the impact of vehicular pollution on our streets.
Art and Activism: On the last Sunday of every month, we will use the medium of art to get people of all ages to think about environmental damage and mitigation from new perspectives.
Mask Distribution: Wearing masks is not only important for protecting ourselves from COVID crisis but it also protects us against air pollution. We will be doing mask distribution drives on Church street along with our volunteers.
