Good News for Mumbai’s Dabbawalas!

Exciting news for Mumbai’s Dabbawalas! Thanks to collaborative efforts with local authorities and community support, dedicated cycling spaces have been secured in Churchgate, Lower Parel, & Andheri. This initiative addresses a longstanding need for safe cycle parking near key railway stations, supporting over 5,000 Dabbawalas who are integral to our city’s sustainable practices.

This milestone was achieved through a petition led by Waatavaran and Jhatkaa.org, reflecting the power of collective action and community advocacy. Together, we’re standing for a greener, more sustainable Mumbai.
