University forms committee to address sexual harassment on campus!

Students at Jamia Millia Islamia had been protesting  for the termination of Prof. Ahmed, who was accused of sexual and mental harassment, unsolicited advances and lewd texting towards female students. 

Their protest, however, was clamped down upon, and they were violently attacked for peacefully demanding safe space on campus!  To this end, we swiftly launched signature and missed-call campaigns to rally support for the students. 

Our campaign was fruitful in forming an ICC and enquiry committee to look into the matter – a significant step to ensure student welfare, and create a safe space on campus!
